Part-Time Lead Sales Associate

About the role

This position involves functioning as a Cashier and/or Stocker, with leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Manager. The role focuses on providing excellent customer service, maintaining store organization, and supporting store operations.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks, stock merchandise, rotate and face items on shelves, and assist with plan-o-gram implementation.
• Operate cash registers, handle transactions, collect payments, and assist customers.
• Maintain store cleanliness by cleaning floors, restrooms, and stocking areas.
• Assist in setting up displays and ensuring the store is well-organized and safe.
• In the absence of management, authorize refunds, manage cash, monitor security, and complete necessary paperwork.

Requirements

Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 40-55 pounds. Occasional climbing, exposure to outdoor weather, and driving for store-related tasks. Environment is fast-paced with moderate noise levels.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with some supervisory or related experience.

Skills

• Ability to perform basic math and handle cash procedures.
• Knowledge of cash handling, safety policies, and merchandise presentation.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
