Part-Time Lead Sales Associate

About the role

This position involves serving as a Cashier and/or Stocker, with leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Manager. The role focuses on maintaining store appearance, managing inventory, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting store operations to maximize profitability and safety.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks, stock merchandise, rotate and face products, and assist in plan-o-gram implementation.
• Help customers locate items, operate cash registers, and handle transactions accurately.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organize displays, and set up sidewalk promotions.
• Assist in opening and closing the store, including cash management, deposits, and security checks.
• In the absence of management, authorize refunds, oversee cash accountability, and monitor store activity.

Qualifications

• Strong mathematical and cash handling skills, with knowledge of register functions.
• Understanding of safety, security, and store presentation policies.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-grams and merchandising guidelines.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with six months of supervisory or related experience recommended.
