Part-Time Lead Sales Associate

Role Overview

The position functions as a Cashier and/or Stocker, with leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. The role involves maintaining store displays, stocking merchandise, assisting customers, and ensuring a clean, safe shopping environment. Key duties include unloading trucks, implementing plan-o-grams, operating cash registers, processing transactions, and managing store cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

• Stocking, rotating, and facing merchandise on shelves
• Assisting with store setup, displays, and inventory management
• Providing excellent customer service and locating merchandise
• Operating cash registers, handling transactions, and cash control
• Maintaining store cleanliness and safety standards
• Supporting opening and closing procedures, including bank deposits and security checks

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong mathematical and cash handling skills
• Knowledge of cash register operations and safety policies
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow plan-o-grams and presentation guidelines
• High school diploma or equivalent; supervisory experience preferred
