Part Time - Foodservice Worker

About the role

Performs routine foodservice tasks, including portioning, serving, and cleaning tableware and work areas, while maintaining professional service standards. Ensures food safety and sanitation per regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, packaging, and delivery within the foodservice area.
• Clean and sanitize food service spaces as directed.
• Record food temperatures and monitor storage conditions.
• Handle food trays, ingredients measurement, and storage of supplies.
• May process cash transactions as needed.
• Read and interpret patient meal tickets, verifying identifiers, recipes, labels, and dates.
• Work is conducted in a clinical environment, adhering to organizational policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Flexibility for weekend and holiday rotations.
• Prior experience in food preparation, service, or cleaning preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent education.
