This role involves acting as the designated Person In Charge (PIC) to oversee daily foodservice operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining service standards. The position is performed in a clinical environment, emphasizing safety, excellence, and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Opening and closing the department
• Managing staff schedules
• Promoting teamwork
• Monitoring sanitation and food safety, including temperature checks
• Ensuring recipe and portion control adherence
• Providing leadership in training staff
• Addressing maintenance issues
• Supporting process improvements
• Reading patient meal tickets and verifying identifiers
• Ensuring accurate meal delivery
• Availability for rotating weekends and holidays
• Willingness to support a diverse team

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
