Part Time - Foodservice Worker

About the role

Performs routine foodservice tasks, including portioning, serving, cleaning, and maintaining a sanitary environment to ensure a professional service standard.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, packaging, and delivery within the foodservice area.
• Clean and sanitize food service areas per management and regulatory standards.
• Monitor and record temperatures of food and storage areas.
• Handle food trays, store supplies, and measure ingredients as needed.
• Receive, store, and organize food supplies, equipment, and utensils.
• Read and interpret patient meal tickets, labels, and recipes, ensuring accuracy and proper identification.
• May handle cash transactions depending on operational needs.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience in food prep, serving, cleaning, or customer service is advantageous.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to interpret instructions and maintain quality standards.
