Part-Time Fitting Room Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Affirms customers receive world-class customer service and attention in fitting rooms.
  • Answers incoming calls in a friendly, professional, and pleasant manner.
  • Assists customers and transfers calls to appropriate associates or areas for further assistance.
  • Performs general office duties such as mail service, sorting, and delivering mail.
  • Makes signs for all shops and creates daily pocket schedules.
  • Assists in various projects for leadership team members.
  • Develops product knowledge and collaborates with sales associates to achieve daily selling goals.
  • Monitors and prepares merchandise for return to the selling floor.
  • Answers questions about merchandise usage and location.
  • Ensures the work environment fosters a sense of pride and teamwork.
  • Demonstrates strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Behaves professionally in appearance and attitude, contributing to a positive team atmosphere.
  • Treats others with respect and follows Scheels’ policies and procedures.
  • Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Promotes the Scheels Visa Rewards card and explains its benefits.

  • Approaches daily tasks with energy and urgency.

  • Arrives to work and meetings 10 minutes early.

  • Adapts to a changing work environment.
  • Applies basic math, grammar, punctuation, and spelling skills.
  • Meets Scheels’ dress and grooming expectations.
  • Follows all safety procedures and performs duties to minimize injury risk.

Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements

  • Sit, stand, bend, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push, pull, lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly.
  • Perform medium work tasks.
  • Follows safety procedures and minimizes injury risk.

Education & Experience

The ideal candidate has a minimum of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), 1-3 months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
