Part-Time Deli/Bakery Associate

About the role

This position involves independently preparing, frying, packaging, displaying, and stocking deli and bakery products to support store operations and contribute to financial success. The role requires ensuring compliance with safety, food safety, and guest experience standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce bakery/deli items per production plans.
• Package, label, and merchandise products according to plan and merchandising standards.
• Stock backroom with fresh products, rotating and dating cases.
• Coordinate with other departments and notify management of supply needs.
• Follow safety, food safety, cleaning, and guest experience guidelines.
• Assist in tasks across departments as needed and perform additional duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• At least one year of retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, interpret documents, and perform basic math.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.

Physical requirements

Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally, stand and walk for extended periods, and work in varied temperatures and conditions typical of retail environments. Reasonable accommodations are available for disabilities.
