Part-Time Deli/Bakery Associate

About the role

This position involves independently preparing, frying, packaging, displaying, and stocking deli and bakery products to contribute to store profitability and enhance guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, produce, and package bakery and deli items according to plans and standards
• Merchandise products per merchandising expectations and rotate stock appropriately
• Collaborate with other departments to support store growth
• Notify managers about supply needs and maintain safety and food safety guidelines
• Communicate tasks clearly, follow safety protocols, and adapt to additional departmental tasks as needed

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• One year of retail or related experience preferred
• Basic math skills, ability to read and interpret documents, and attention to detail

Physical requirements

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Work in varied environmental conditions
