Part-Time Deli/Bakery Associate

About the role

This position involves preparing, packaging, and displaying bakery and deli products to meet production plans and merchandising standards. It requires working independently to ensure quality, safety, and guest satisfaction, while contributing to store financial goals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, and label bakery/deli items according to plan
• Stock backroom with fresh products, rotating and dating cases
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to drive store growth
• Notify managers about supply needs
• Follow safety, food safety, and guest experience guidelines
• Perform tasks in other departments as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Experience in retail or related fields preferred
• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents
• Basic math skills
• Detail-oriented with good communication skills

Physical requirements

Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally, stand and walk for extended periods, and work in varied temperatures and conditions. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
