Part-Time Deli/Bakery Associate

About the role

This position involves independently preparing, frying, packaging, displaying, and stocking deli and bakery products to support store operations and contribute to financial success.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce bakery and deli items according to production plans.
• Package, label, and merchandise products following program and merchandising standards.
• Stock backroom with fresh products, ensuring proper rotation and dating.
• Collaborate with other departments and stores to promote growth.
• Notify management of supply needs and maintain safety, food safety, and guest experience standards.
• Follow safety guidelines, PPE protocols, and cleaning procedures.
• Perform additional tasks across departments as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• At least one year of retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, interpret documents, and perform basic math.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally, stand and walk for extended periods, and work in varied temperatures and environments. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
