Part-Time Deli/Bakery Associate

About the role

This position involves independently preparing, frying, packaging, displaying, and stocking deli and bakery products to support store profitability and enhance guest experience. Adherence to safety, food safety, and company guidelines is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce bakery/deli items according to production plans
• Package and label products following program guidelines
• Merchandise products per merchandising expectations
• Stock backroom with rotated, dated products
• Collaborate with other departments to drive store growth
• Notify management about supply needs
• Follow safety, PPE, and food safety protocols
• Maintain guest experience standards
• Perform additional tasks across departments as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Experience in retail or related fields is a plus
• Basic math and reading comprehension skills
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills

Physical requirements

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
• Stand, walk, bend, and twist for extended periods
• Work in varied temperatures and environments
