Part Time - Custodian

Location: Jenkins, KY (Letcher County) – Jenkins Independent Schools

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred; experience may substitute.
• Must pass drug screen and TB test.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and sterilize surfaces following health and safety standards.
• Perform sweeping, mopping, dusting, disinfecting, trash removal, and inventory management.
• Monitor building security by locking doors after hours and checking electrical appliances for hazards.
• Maintain school grounds by removing debris and safety hazards.
• Report repairs needed to management.

Skills & Knowledge

• Custodial experience preferred.
• Attention to safety and cleanliness.
• Reliable and detail-oriented.
