Part Time - Custodian

Metadata: Full-time position, Monday to Friday with alternate Saturdays.

About the role

The Custodian maintains cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas, performs janitorial duties, and operates cleaning equipment. Responsibilities include handling hazardous waste tasks such as collecting, classifying, and recycling waste while ensuring safety and proper procedures. The role also involves reporting hazards, supporting team efforts, and following all safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties safely
• Preferred experience of 3-6 months or equivalent training
• Certifications such as a valid driver’s license or forklift certification may be required
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and chemicals
• Ability to interpret instructions

Physical demands

• Lifting up to 35 pounds
• Frequent movement throughout the workday

Pay

Hourly pay range: $15.50–$16.50.

Schedule

Monday to Friday with alternate Saturdays.
