Part Time - Custodian

About the Role

Responsible for maintaining cleanliness, safety, and functionality of school buildings and grounds.

Responsibilities

• Keeps premises tidy, shovels and sands walkways, inspects exit doors and panic bars, and raises or lowers the flag daily.
• Cleans classrooms, dusts furniture, disinfects restrooms, and washes windows regularly.
• Maintains grounds by removing rubbish and ensuring safety and attractiveness.
• Performs minor repairs, reports damages, and manages building security by opening and closing facilities.
• Keeps inventory of supplies and moves furniture as needed.
• Ensures compliance with waste disposal laws.
• Performs additional assigned duties.

Requirements

• Ability to perform custodial and minor maintenance tasks.
• Attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Good organizational skills.
