About the role
The Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality, nutritious meals in accordance with standardized recipes and dietary requirements, ensuring a positive dining experience for residents.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining food safety standards
- Recording production and safety temperatures
- Stocking and rotating food supplies
- Keeping the kitchen and equipment clean and organized
- Supporting dishwashing and dining services as needed
- Leading food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator
Qualifications
- Experience in food preparation and kitchen hygiene
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
- Ability to follow recipes and dietary modifications accurately
- Strong organizational and cleaning skills
- Team player with the ability to support dining services
Pay
The position offers a pay range of $17.10 to $21.40.
