About the Role
This role involves designing, facilitating, and evaluating professional development for school professionals within a school-based behavioral health program. It focuses on building capacity in social-emotional learning and behavioral health through workshops, training sessions, and consulting services. The position emphasizes collaboration within a team, developing resources, and delivering training both in person and online to diverse educational audiences. It does not include direct clinical services to students.
Responsibilities
- Developing and leading professional development sessions for school staff and districts.
- Collaborating with team members to create training materials and resources.
- Delivering live and asynchronous workshops on social-emotional and behavioral health topics.
- Providing consultation and support to schools and community organizations.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in social work (LICSW in MA required).
- Several years of social work experience in school-based behavioral health, with a preference for 5+ years.
- Experience in designing and facilitating trainings for K–12 audiences, with a focus on equity and social justice.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
