Part-Time Clinical Nurse - Operating Room

Role Overview

This position involves providing direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, education on illness management, and promoting safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. The nurse will develop, implement, and document individualized care plans, collaborate with the healthcare team, and assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs while respecting patient values and cultural backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Promote a healing environment through patient and family education on post-treatment care and medication management.
• Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality improvement, and regulatory adherence.
• Develop and communicate comprehensive, goal-oriented care plans in collaboration with team members, patients, and families.
• Use critical nursing skills to evaluate patient needs and preferences, considering emotional, spiritual, and cultural factors.
• Maintain safety-sensitive standards, working alertly and safely at all times.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Experience: No prior experience necessary; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles.
• Licenses & Certifications: Must hold an RN license.
