About the Role

This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) in Perioperative Care within a surgical unit, focusing on delivering high-quality, safe, and individualized patient care through the nursing process.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, safe, and individualized patient care through the nursing process.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
• Practice relationship-based, patient-centered care.
• Participate in performance improvement, evidence-based practice, and research activities.
• Supervise and mentor staff and students.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and policies.
• Engage in proactive planning, protocols development, and support performance improvement initiatives in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of direct patient care nursing experience.
• Active RN license (single-state or multi-state compact).
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Associate or diploma nursing degree (bachelor’s degree preferred).
