Part-Time Clinical Nurse - Operating Room

About the Role

Provides direct patient care in an acute trauma and surgical setting, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, home care, and medication.
• Participate in safety, quality, and regulatory compliance activities, along with professional development.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers to care.
• Ensure effective communication across the care continuum and maintain safety in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Minimum Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree; Bachelor's preferred.
• Licensure: Valid RN license.
• Experience: No experience required; less than 2 years preferred for higher qualification.
• Preferred: Recent experience in general surgery, trauma, or plastics.
