Part Time - Cashier

Role Overview: Responsible for operating cash registers and electronic scanners to process customer purchases, handle various payment methods, and assist with bagging while delivering courteous service. Key Duties Operate cash registers, scanners, scales, and belts efficiently.Manage financial transactions accurately, including cash, checks, credit cards, and coupons.Weigh, bag, and ensure correct product identification and pricing.Provide exceptional customer service by communicating store programs, specials, and coupons.Maintain store cleanliness, stock levels, and adhere to safety and sanitation standards.Assist with stocking and other departmental tasks as needed.Follow safety, food safety, and guest experience guidelines.Perform additional duties based on store needs. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED preferred.Prior retail experience is a plus.Strong verbal communication, customer service, and organizational skills.Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally, stand and walk for extended periods, and work in varied temperatures.
