Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of resident’s room and work areas
- Help residents maintain independence, promote dignity, and ensure physical safety
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating) as instructed
- Engage residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities
Qualifications
- Preferred Certified Nurse’s Aid certification
- High School diploma/GED
- At least 18 years old
- Previous experience working with seniors preferred
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
