Role Overview The Medication Aide/Med Tech is responsible for administering medications and treatments to residents safely and accurately, ensuring dignity and compliance with regulations. Key Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders, following the Six Rights of Medication AdministrationAccurately document in MAR/TAR in real-timeObserve residents during and after medication passes, monitor symptoms, and report concerns promptlyComplete narcotic counts and maintain organized medication carts and roomsFollow infection control and safety standards to prevent errors and promote resident safety Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma/GED and age 18+Medication Administration certification, CPR, and First Aid certificationsStrong documentation and communication skillsPreferred experience in senior care This role plays a vital part in resident health, safety, and wellbeing, requiring attention to detail, regulatory compliance, and a compassionate approach.
