Responsibilities
- Contribute to food service operations by assisting in all operations related to the kitchen including preparation, cooking, and storage of food.
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment at all times.
- Deliver food products according to the restaurant's standards.
- Handle special requests from guests.
- Prepare dishes with creativity and knowledge of ingredients to meet specific dietary requirements.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 6 months of cooking experience in a high volume restaurant or bistro environment is required.
- One to two years of cooking experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of sanitation, cooking methods, and knife skills is essential.
- A Culinary Arts Degree and Local Board of Health ServSafe Certification are preferred but not required.
Pay
The hiring range for this position is $20.81 to $26.01 hourly. The final salary offer will vary based on geographic location, individual education, skills, and experience.
Schedule & Shift Availability
This is a part-time position available for morning shifts (as early as 8:00 AM) and afternoon shifts (as early as 1:00 PM). Availability includes days, evenings, and weekends. Holiday coverage is required except for Christmas.
