Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, revise, and process routine commercial agreements, including NDAs, SOWs, amendments, renewals, vendor agreements, and other legal documents using approved templates, playbooks, and clause libraries.
- Identify non-standard terms, legal risks, business concerns, or approval exceptions and escalate matters requiring attorney review.
- Cook up contract workflows, approvals, signatures, and stakeholder communications throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Maintain contract records, repositories, metadata, renewal schedules, and other lifecycle management activities to ensure accurate recordkeeping and accessibility.
- Aid in the development and maintenance of legal templates, standard forms, playbooks, knowledge resources, and process documentation.
- Serve as a point of contact for routine legal process questions and guide employees on approved Legal Department intake procedures, forms, and workflows.
- Support attorney-directed legal matters, including matter tracking, document collection, research coordination, compliance initiatives, corporate governance activities, investigations, and dispute support.
- Organise and maintain legal department records, matter files, policies, corporate documents, and correspondence while ensuring confidentiality and proper document management.
- Proactively identify legal, operational, compliance, confidentiality, and process risks and communicate concerns to legal counsel as appropriate.
- Support legal operations and department administration through process improvements, reporting, workflow optimisation, document execution, task management, and other activities that improve efficiency and service delivery.
Requirements
- Paralegal certificate, bachelor's degree, JD, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant legal experience.
- 5+ years of legal experience, preferably including experience within an in-house corporate legal department.
- Experience preparing, reviewing, negotiating, and managing commercial contracts and related legal documentation.
- Strong understanding of legal confidentiality, attorney-client privilege, ethical obligations, and appropriate escalation practices.
- Excellent written communication, proofreading, organisational, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and operate effectively in a fast-paced business environment.
- Strong judgement, problem-solving, and risk-identification skills, with the ability to know when attorney guidance is required.
- Experience working with contract lifecycle management, e-signature, matter management, document management, and Microsoft 365 tools.
- Ability to build effective working relationships and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across the organisation.
Qualifications
- Preferred qualifications include experience supporting software, SaaS, technology, supply chain, logistics, or other commercial contracting environments.
- Experience working with global or multi-jurisdictional legal teams and supporting international business operations.

Pay
Salary range: From $ 80 – 95K (final compensation based on experience, performance, and internal equity).
