About the role

Entrada Partners Acquisitions is a private commercial real estate investment firm, with a portfolio of approximately 4.7 million square feet across 56 properties in Dallas-Fort Worth, San Antonio, Houston, Austin, and Georgia. The Paralegal will have primary and initial responsibility for several leasing tasks: drafting new tenant leases, renewals, and other minor lease amendments, and coordinating signature execution via DocuSign. This role also maintains the firm's lease and legal document files and provides general administrative support to the Managing Counsel.

Responsibilities

  • Draft new tenant leases, renewals, and other minor lease amendments, often using approved templates, for Managing Counsel's review; abstract lease terms as needed.
  • Coordinate execution of leases and amendments via DocuSign.
  • Ensure fully executed documents are properly recorded and filed.
  • Interface directly with property managers, brokers, and asset managers to gather lease terms, coordinate document execution, and resolve routine leasing questions.
  • Organize legal documents related to acquisitions, dispositions, and financings, including purchase and sale agreements, closing statements, and title/escrow materials.
  • Draft and maintain entity formation and governance documents (LLC operating agreements, resolutions, organizational charts) for the firm's fund and property-owning entities.
  • Track and maintain corporate records, registered agent filings, and state qualification/annual report filings across all operating states.
  • Support contract management, including vendor agreements, NDAs, and service contracts.
  • Assist in coordinating closing logistics.
  • Maintain the firm's legal document repository in Egnyte, ensuring files are current and properly organized.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Managing Counsel, plus other ad hoc legal and administrative projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience as a paralegal in commercial real estate, corporate, or transactional law (in-house or law firm).
  • Familiarity with commercial lease drafting and terminology (e.g., renewal options, rent escalations, notice provisions, minor lease modifications).
  • Exposure to entity formation/governance documents a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines concurrently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with Egnyte or similar document management systems a plus.
  • Notary public commission a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort interfacing directly with property managers, brokers, and asset managers; a self-starter who raises questions or concerns directly rather than deferring silently; discretion with confidential information.
