Overnight Receiving Supervisor

About the role

The Overnight Receiving Supervisor oversees warehouse operations in retail stores, supervising warehouse specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators.

Responsibilities

• Daily scheduling of warehouse personnel
• Directing warehouse activities such as shipping, receiving, maintenance, inventory control
• Maintaining warehouse equipment and ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations
• Ensuring warehouse safety and compliance with safety procedures
• Training and disciplining warehouse staff
• Coordinating with other departments for efficient warehouse operations
• Completing activity reports and resolving discrepancies
• Executing Storage Buy Audit COP and managing inventory rotation

Requirements

• Minimum 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment
• Excellent interpersonal, team-building, delegating, and follow-up skills
• Effective communication skills (oral and written)
• Basic mathematical calculations and strong computer skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet established deadlines
• Availability to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons

Qualifications

• Competent in performing basic mathematical calculations
• Strong computer skills, including Windows-based systems
• Physical requirements: ability to exert 30-60 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20-30 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 20 pounds of force constantly
• Physical demands: standing, walking, reaching with arms and hands, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling

Store Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Sunday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Pickup Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Sunday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
