Overnight Receiving Supervisor

About the role

The Overnight Receiving Supervisor oversees and directs warehouse operations in retail stores. Responsibilities include managing staff schedules, handling daily logistics, maintaining equipment, ensuring safety, and coordinating with other departments.

Responsibilities

• Directs warehouse activities such as shipping, receiving, maintenance, and inventory control.
• Schedules warehouse personnel to ensure efficient operations.
• Maintains warehouse equipment and communicates necessary repairs.
• Ensures compliance with safety regulations and standard operating procedures.
• Trains and manages warehouse staff.
• Handles employee inquiries and resolves issues.
• Collaborates with other departments to optimize warehouse operations.
• Monitors paperwork and resolves discrepancies.
• Executes Storage Buy Audit COP and ensures inventory management.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
• Excellent interpersonal, team-building, delegating, and follow-up skills.
• Effective communication skills (oral and written).
• Basic mathematical calculations and strong computer skills (Windows-based systems).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.

Store hours are Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Sunday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM. Pickup hours are Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Sunday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
