Overnight home care support

Community Horizons is assisting a young lady in Plover with hiring a dependable Saturday overnight caregiver. This member is very independent and simply needs someone present overnight who can assist only when needed.

About the Member

A young woman living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) who is very independent and directs her own care. The home environment is friendly and includes cats, so you must be comfortable with pets.

Schedule

Weekend overnights, 9pm to 6am.

Support Needed

• Primarily present for safety and occasional assistance
• Helping with repositioning or transfers when needed
• Assisting with bathroom needs as needed
• Light support with comfort or mobility
• Being available if assistance is requested during the night

Requirements

• Experience with super pubic catheter care
• Ceiling lift experience
• Comfort working with individuals with physical disabilities
• Must be okay with cats

• Comfortable working in a quiet overnight setting

Pay

$16.32/hour, paid through Wisconsin's Self-Directed Services program.
