Outpatient Therapist - Youth & Family Focus (26-82)

About the role

The Outpatient Therapist - Youth & Family Focus provides ongoing and developmentally appropriate, evidence-based, trauma- and recovery-focused outpatient therapy to clients of Network180’s Outpatient Clinic(s).

Responsibilities

• Work in-office at 790 Fuller Ave NE Grand Rapids, Michigan 49503.
• Provide ongoing and developmentally appropriate, trauma- and recovery-focused outpatient therapy to clients of Network180’s Outpatient Clinic(s).
• Work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, primarily from 8:00am to 5:00pm with flexibility to work two evening shifts until 7:00pm.
• Work in a multicultural environment and bridge language/cultural barriers to Network180 services within diverse communities.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or Counseling Psychology.
• Licensure in the State of Michigan as a limited licensed master social worker, marriage and family therapist, OR be eligible for a limited license as stated above and obtain that licensure within one (1) month of hire.
• Specialized training and at least one year of experience in the examination, evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of minors and their families.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for job related use.
• Thorough working knowledge of the practices and principles of psychological, emotional, and sociological assessment and diagnosis.
• Thorough working knowledge of professional ethics and standards of practice.
• Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, email, database management, and data entry skills.
• Demonstrated experience communicating clearly and concisely in stressful situations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Pay

$27.49 - $36.44 hourly. The final job offer is based on several factors (internal equity, skills, education, experience, and credentials).
