About the role

The successful candidate will provide ongoing and developmentally appropriate, evidence-based, trauma- and recovery-focused outpatient therapy to clients of Network180’s Outpatient Clinic(s).

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and/or group DBT therapy to adults.
  • Work in an office setting at 790 Fuller Ave NE, Grand Rapids, Michigan 49503.
  • Work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
  • Participate in a DBT treatment team if applicable.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or Counseling Psychology.
  • Licensure in the State of Michigan as a limited licensed master social worker, marriage and family therapist, or eligibility for such licensure within one month of hire.
  • At least one year of experience providing individual and/or group DBT therapy to adults.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
  • Thorough working knowledge of psychological, emotional, and sociological assessment and diagnosis.
  • Thorough working knowledge of professional ethics and standards of practice.
  • Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, email, database management, and data entry.
  • Demonstrated experience communicating clearly and concisely in stressful situations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and bridge language/cultural barriers.

Qualifications

  • Full license as MSW, Professional Counselor, Psychologist, or Marriage and Family Therapist preferred.
  • Training and experience with Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
  • CAADC certification or development plan for the credential.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed theories, principles, and practices.
  • Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued.

Pay

$27.49 - $36.44 hourly. The final job offer is based on several factors (internal equity, skills, education, experience, and credentials).

Schedule

This position is 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. There are no weekends, on-call, or holiday requirements for this position.
