Outpatient Therapist

About the Role

Provide individualized and group counseling to diverse clients, including adults and adolescents, to support their recovery through tailored treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for clients.
• Conduct individual, group, and educational counseling sessions.
• Ensure accurate and compliant documentation in clinical records.
• Collaborate with team members to foster an optimal recovery environment.
• Communicate client issues to the Clinical Manager and participate in Quality Assurance activities.
• Complete judicial reports and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold organizational principles.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, supporting team and organizational goals.

Requirements

• Experience or knowledge in education and therapeutic counseling for adults and adolescents.
• Understanding of therapeutic community philosophy and outpatient counseling practices.
• Ability to identify resources and provide substance abuse counseling.
• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Patience, resilience, and professionalism in a challenging environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially MS Outlook.
• Associate's degree required; two years of substance abuse treatment experience preferred.
• Experience with electronic health records preferred.
