Outpatient Therapist
About the role
Northeast Family Services is seeking caring and experienced Outpatient Therapists to join our growing New York team. Fee for Service (FFS) Outpatient Clinicians will provide services and care to our patients in accordance with NFS’ policies under the direction of the Program Director. Outpatient Therapists work collaboratively with clients to help them access their core strengths to be their best selves and realize their full potential. We provide structured, consistent, strength-based therapeutic interventions to treat youth’s behavioral health needs using multiple evidence-based practices that promote families' strengths.
Daytime hours available. Hybrid opportunity with language differential provided for Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Russian, and Hindi.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient therapeutic services and care to patients in accordance with NFS policies.
- Work collaboratively with clients to help them access their core strengths and realize their full potential.
- Deliver structured, consistent, strength-based therapeutic interventions for youth’s behavioral health needs.
- Manage your own schedule with client outreach.
Requirements
- Master's degree in social work.
- LCSW Independent Clinical Licensure in the state of NY.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with children, youth, and families.
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Some afternoon and evening availability is a plus.
- Access to secure internet required.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. (No visa sponsorship available at this time).
Valid driver’s license with reliable and consistent access to a vehicle preferred.

Pay
Full-Time: $70,000 - $80,000. Premiums paid for non-English language capacity and select clinical specialties.
Schedule
Hybrid opportunity with daytime hours available. Some afternoon and evening availability is a plus.
Full-Time employees have the opportunity to earn a $3,000 Stay-on Bonus after successful completion of the probationary period.
