Outpatient Therapist

About the role

Northeast Family Services is seeking caring and experienced Outpatient Therapists to join its growing New York team. Full‑time employees are eligible for a $3,000 Stay‑on Bonus after completing the probationary period. Under the direction of the Program Director, Fee‑for‑Service (FFS) Outpatient Clinicians provide services and care to patients in accordance with NFS policies. The organization is expanding rapidly throughout New York and nationally, offering a hybrid work model with daytime hours available and a language differential for Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Russian, and Hindi speakers.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with clients to help them access their core strengths and realize their full potential.
• Provide structured, consistent, strength‑based therapeutic interventions to treat youth’s behavioral health needs.
• Utilize multiple evidence‑based practices that promote family strengths.
• Deliver services in accordance with NFS policies and under the supervision of the Program Director.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work.
• LCSW Independent Clinical Licensure in the state of New York.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children, youth, and families.
• Excellent time‑management skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to manage one’s own schedule with client outreach.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable access to a vehicle (preferred).
• Some afternoon and evening availability is a plus.
• Access to secure internet required.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.; sponsorship of employment visas not available at this time.
