Outpatient Therapist

About the role

Northeast Family Services (NFS) is seeking skilled therapists to join our team. We offer highly competitive rates and incentives for outpatient services provided on-site at our five locations across Massachusetts. Therapists collaborate with clients to help them access their core strengths and achieve their full potential through various therapeutic approaches.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, couples, family, and/or group therapy
• Conduct intake assessments and determine appropriate levels of care
• Develop personalized treatment plans that create real change
• Carefully coordinate care with families, medical providers, and community partners
• Maintain thorough documentation in our user-friendly electronic health record (EHR) system
• Participate in case consultations and team meetings as needed
• Offer crisis intervention and therapeutic support when necessary

Requirements

• Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
• Independent Clinical License within 2 years (optional)
• Current license in the state of Massachusetts (optional)
• Excellent time-management skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Able to manage one's own schedule with client outreach

Qualifications

• Able to work in one of our 5 office locations: North Andover, Dorchester, Fall River, Worcester, West Springfield
• Afternoon and evening availability is a plus
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Pay

• Full-time Salary: $60,000 - $70,000
• Incentive Rate: $60 / hour over productivity!
• Hourly Fee For Service: 45/hour for MA Level, $50-$55/hour MA level with initial license or additional language capacity, $55-$60/hour with initial license and additional language capacity / high level of experience, $65-$70/hour for independent license
• Incentive For On-site: 50% in person over a 3 month span will earn $750, 75% in person over a 3 month span will earn $1000, 90% and above in person over a 3 month span $1250

Schedule

• Flexible Schedule: Choose your days! (Weekends available, evenings preferred)
• All clinicians are W-2 employees, offering either full-time salaried roles or flexible hourly fee-for-service positions
• Our full-time clinicians enjoy stable, guaranteed salary compensation, even when clients cancel
