This is a Utah-based hybrid position which will require some regular in-office days each week. Employment with BambooHR is contingent on passing both a background and credit check.
Responsibilities
- Expanding the top of the funnel by complementing centralized marketing campaigns with your own prospecting efforts.
- Developing relationships and alignment across multiple levels, including C-level executives, influencers, and relevant personas.
- Driving sales execution by using BambooHR's sales process to close new logo business.
- Preparing accurate forecasts, building a pipeline to cover bookings targets, and thoroughly documenting notes and activities in the CRM tool.
- Selling with a customer focus by diagnosing each account's business plan and existing contractual agreements for services.
- Demonstrating product proficiency with a working knowledge across BambooHR's service lines.
- Moving prospects from latent to active need by creating value.
- Successfully prospecting into strategic accounts and building active pipeline when necessary.
- Setting the stage for long-term success of BambooHR’s customers by providing a clear and smooth handoff to the post-sales teams, including future opportunities for growth.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of quota-carrying sales experience.
- 1-2 years of outbound sales experience that includes prospecting experience identifying and qualifying sales opportunities while articulating product value propositions via phone and email.
- Sustained success creating pipeline in a specific assigned territory.
- Experience building territory plans and prioritizing account strategy.
- A track record of tenacity and driving results with a sense of urgency.
- Proven success navigating multiple, relevant stakeholders in opportunity cycles.
- Excellent leadership skills and the ability to work with and indirectly manage sales support colleagues.
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Highly professional and excellent written and verbal communication skills to ensure success in speaking to all levels of an organization.
- Coachability—willingness to incorporate feedback into your day-to-day work.
- Ability to prioritize your day to effectively use your time.
- Strong active listening skills to effectively discover a customer’s pain points by understanding their challenges and concerns.
- Availability to attend in-office training during the initial onboarding period (first two weeks) to support ramp and early success.

- Strong skills in objection handling and negotiation.
- A persuasive sales approach and the ability to manage support resources effectively.
- A focus on achieving quota attainment, new logo bookings, and maintaining a strong pipeline coverage ratio.
- A high win rate in sales engagements.
- Strong organizational skills to keep detailed records and prioritize tasks.
- A healthy competitive attitude that drives you to excel while respecting colleagues and prospects.
