Responsibilities

  • Analyzes business needs to help ensure the Oracle solution meets the client’s objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen.
  • Recommends and justifies enhancements to Oracle products to meet very complex client needs.
  • Exercises creativity and independent judgment in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to deliver functional and technical expertise on a wide range of business and technology solutions.
  • Leads experienced consulting teams on challenging projects; works on significant and unique issues.
  • As a thought leader and trusted advisor, effectively influences difficult decisions at the leadership-level of client organizations.
  • Enables business development efforts by providing subject matter expertise.
  • Solves very complex client escalations.
  • Drives client process direction and decisions by providing domain leadership within relevant industries on end-to-end enterprise solutions.
  • Creates new solution sets based on assessment of industry needs, market demands and knowledge of competitive product offerings.

Client Facing Delivery & Sales

  • Holds overall accountability for functional strategies & architecture on a project.
  • Leads the functional and/or technical solution design and implementation strategy of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget.
  • Demonstrates deep proficiency with multiple applications within the same solution.
  • Implements innovative solutions with industry-wide impact as a recognized independent subject matter expert within Oracle.
  • Drives client process direction and decisions by providing domain leadership within relevant industries on end-to-end enterprise solutions.
  • Analyzes business needs to ensure the Oracle solution meets the client’s objectives by combining industry best practices, functional knowledge, and business acumen.
  • Architects and designs technology solutions encompassing multiple solutions and make decisions based on impact across the stack.
  • Leads client workshops across multiple phases of the project lifecycle, effectively consulting with management of client organizations and influencing client leadership as a trusted advisor.
  • Influences client senior and middle management and partner senior management in acceptance of Oracle solutions and services to facilitate the closing of consulting deals.
  • Collaborates with organizations across the Oracle ecosystem to ensure up to date quality solutions, endorsed by Product Management and A-Team, as applicable.
  • Reviews scope, approach, timeline, effort estimates, staff plan, org chart, mobilization, and confirms projects can be delivered successfully.
  • Works with offshore on estimates using offshore estimation models, ensuring one source of truth and consistent estimates across deals.
  • Participates in readouts and orals.
  • Contributes as a functional and/or technical resource for sales pursuits.

Practice Development

  • Leads internal practice development initiatives to improve the operation of our business.
  • Leads/participates in an initiative or committee team and guides/assists with developing content.
  • Leads business development activities and provides subject matter expertise to generate bookings.
  • Leads internal Oracle calls, webcasts, and events to communicate the strategic priorities of the company.
  • May create new solution sets based on assessment of industry needs, market demands, and knowledge of competitive product offerings.
  • Collaborates with technical SMEs, Client Partners, and other COP members to develop offerings and capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Deep functional and solution architectural expertise.
  • Ability to translate complex business needs into practical solution designs.
  • Proven track record of leading Order to Cash system initiatives in large, cross-functional environments.
  • At least 2-3 full life cycle implementations of Oracle’s Cloud Source to Pay applications, or equivalent experience with other Source to Pay applications.
  • 8-10+ years of experience implementing Oracle Cloud SCM and ERP solutions.
  • Expert in product and process understanding of Oracle Cloud Configure Price Quote (CPQ), Order Management, Subscription Management, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management and General Ledger.
  • Strong product and process understanding of Revenue Management, Projects, and General Ledger.
  • Knowledge of EBS, PeopleSoft, or JD Edwards table schemas is a plus.
  • Previous consulting experience with a consulting or software company.
  • Experience implementing SaaS applications.
  • Experience leading consulting and client teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong business analysis and requirements gathering skills.
  • Experience with multiple applications is a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 75%.
