Business Systems Analyst – Oracle Order to Cash Financials
Duties
Role is focused within the Order to Cash (O2C) process area. Expected to balance day-to-day operational support activities, working closely with Application Managed Services (AMS) partners, while also leading and contributing to system enhancements, process improvements, and project-based initiatives.
Transform, maintain, and enhance Oracle Fusion, Oracle EBS, and related applications
Support Finance business needs across global operations
Collaborate cross functionally to optimize:
Billing
Revenue Collections
Intercompany
Accounting
Manage Oracle Fusion, Oracle EBS, and boundary applications (80% functional, 20% technical)
Review Order to Cash processes across: hardware, services, subscriptions, and bundles
Design and own billing processes including:
E invoicing (international compliance)
Project and non-project billing
Invoice documentation
Administer integrations across Oracle Fusion, Oracle EBS, Vertex, and boundary systems
Troubleshoot and debug system issues with business level root cause analysis
Drive process simplification and best practice adoption
Collaborate with global stakeholders across US and EMEA in an Agile environment
Shift
Mon to Fri | 8 AM to 5 PM CST (Can be located anywhere in the US but must be willing to work hours in CST due to daily mandatory team calls)
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
5+ years of Order to Cash and IT experience
2+ years of Oracle Fusion and Oracle EBS O2C experience
Hands-on experience with Oracle Order to Cash implementations over the last 5 years. Candidates must demonstrate deep technical knowledge beyond general summaries.
A strong understanding of the complete customer order lifecycle and associated upstream and downstream business processes. This includes knowledge of how customer orders, subscriptions, and service-related transactions flow through the organization and ultimately drive invoice generation, revenue management, and accounting activities.
Hands-on experience working within the Oracle ecosystem, specifically: Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) on-premises; Oracle Revenue Management Cloud or related Oracle Cloud financial applications
The ideal candidate will understand the integration and data flow between customer orders, purchase orders, invoicing, revenue recognition, and accounting systems, and be able to identify impacts across interconnected business processes and applications.
IT functional consultants with Oracle Order to Cash expertise are strongly preferred.
Finance or Accounting organizations will be considered if actively participated in Oracle implementation, enhancement, or transformation projects and possess a solid understanding of the underlying technology, system integrations, and business process architecture.
Experience collaborating across business and technical teams to support operational activities and project delivery is highly desirable.
Deep understanding of Order to Cash business processes and system dependencies.
Experience supporting both production operations and project-based initiatives simultaneously.
Oracle EBS and Oracle Cloud application experience.
Ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders, IT teams, and AMS support partners.
Experience participating in or leading Oracle implementation, upgrade, enhancement, or transformation projects.
Knowledge of how subscription, service, and order data flows into invoicing, revenue management, and accounting processes.
