Senior Business System Analyst - Order to Cash & Finance

About the role

The Corporate IT department is currently recruiting a Senior Business System Analyst - Order to Cash & Finance to serve as the functional expert responsible for the design, support, enhancement, and continuous improvement of JD Edwards solutions supporting sales, transportation, product inventory, and accounts receivable processes. The Senior Business Systems Analyst – JD Edwards Order to Cash (Finance) serves as the primary functional subject matter expert for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne focused on Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Cash Management, and financial close processes. The role also provides cross-functional support for Sales, Inventory and Transportation Management. Reporting to the ERP Applications Manager – Order to Cash, this role is responsible for solution design, production support, continuous improvement, testing, compliance, governance, and project delivery activities for Finance processes within the Order-to-Cash application portfolio. The Senior Business Systems Analyst is the primary functional authority for Financial processes within the JD Edwards Order-to-Cash solution and provides expertise on system capabilities, configuration, process optimization, internal controls, and operational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead functional expert for JD Edwards Finance processes, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Cash Management, Financial Reporting, and financial close activities.
• Recommend solution design, configuration, and process improvements while partnering with the ERP Applications Manager on prioritization, governance, and portfolio decisions.
• Support business process standardization and enterprise initiatives across multiple operating divisions.
• Lead functional solution design activities for enhancements, integrations, upgrades, and strategic initiatives across the Order-to-Cash application landscape focused on Finance capabilities.
• Lead requirements analysis for complex business initiatives and translate business requirements into scalable functional designs aligned with enterprise architecture and supportability objectives.
• Prepare functional specifications for enhancements, integrations, reports, orchestrations, workflows, and custom applications.
• Identify and lead opportunities to simplify processes, leverage standard JD Edwards functionality, and support modernization initiatives involving OTM, EDI, automation, integrations, and customer-facing solutions.
• Provide subject matter expertise to support application roadmap planning, portfolio prioritization, and strategic ERP initiatives.
• Act as the senior escalation resource for Finance-related JDE production issues.
