Responsibilities

• Maintaining and repairing parking meters and other equipment
• Collecting money from meters and ramp pay stations
• Maintaining wayfinding signs and other parking amenities
• Helping customers navigate the ramps and resolve parking questions
• Performing custodial and general maintenance functions throughout parking ramps and lots, including cleaning, snow removal, inspections, and minor repairs
• Interacting with the public, solving problems, and making a visible difference in the downtown parking experience
• Working under the general supervision of the Parking Utility Manager

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Ability to deal effectively with the public and exercise good judgment
• Flexibility to work during special events and high parking demand periods
• Regular attendance required
