Parking Officer I - IE

About the role

JMU Parking and Transit Services is seeking students for part-time employment in its enforcement and special events programs.

Responsibilities

• Patrol campus and issue citations to vehicles parked in violation of JMU's parking regulations.
• Participate in parking operations for campus special events.
• Absorb visitors with directions and general campus information.

Requirements

• Comfortable interacting with the public in a professional and courteous manner.
• Capable of working efficiently without direct supervision.
• Able to work outdoors, on foot, in a variety of weather conditions.
• Able to work alone or to divide responsibilities with a partner or team.

Qualifications

• Students must be degree-seeking students, enrolled on at least a half-time basis (6 credits for undergraduate and 5 credits for graduate).

Schedule
