About the Role
The Operations Coordinator contributes to the boutique’s commercial success by upholding Maison compliance and achieving operational excellence. This role manages day-to-day processes, including administrative support for transactional activities, financial compliance, logistics, inventory control, and the implementation of policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Ensure proper understanding and execution of all Maison policies and procedures; champion compliance among the team.
- Coordinate efficient opening and closing procedures for the boutique.
- Manage the movement of product in/out of the boutique, including shipments, transfers, consignments, and internal stock movements while maintaining quality control and preventing stock losses.
- Demonstrate excellent care and proper handling of products, adhering to packing, shipping, and receiving procedures, especially for high-value items.
- Monitor financial aspects of boutique sales, ensuring daily transactions and paperwork are submitted accurately and on time.
- Support transactional flows (e.g., ecommerce) to ensure seamless business operations and client experience.
- Coordinate inventory control processes, including daily/weekly/monthly counts and stock movements, to ensure a successful annual inventory.
- Uphold Cartier standards for boutique maintenance, third-party vendors, tools, technology, and equipment.
- Partner with client-facing teams to manage boutique supply inventory, including replenishment for sales and hospitality areas, and support Lean/5S strategies for optimal storage organization.
- Assist with care service responsibilities, such as client repair flow, report execution, and monthly inventory reconciliation.
- Support boutique audits and collaborate with management to implement action plans.
- Participate in daily setup and breakdown of the boutique for opening/closing as needed.
- Exhibit strong communication and problem-solving skills while partnering with boutique management and peers.
- Develop fundamental brand knowledge to convey Cartier’s heritage and values.
- Stay current on industry news, local/global competition, and community connections.
- Share operational best practices with regional and network peers.
- Uphold Cartier’s standards in appearance, manner, and demeanor to project a professional and approachable image.
- Contribute to a positive and productive boutique environment through collaboration and savoir-faire.
- Elevate operational excellence by improving day-to-day processes and workflows.

Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous operations experience in luxury retail, service, or hospitality is a plus.
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency with technology.
- MS Office experience required; SAP knowledge preferred.
- Additional language skills are a plus.
