About the Role

Performs hands-on supervision of the restaurant, including occasional temporary non-scheduled assistance with serving, hosting, cooking, and other duties to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors operations to ensure smooth running of the business during peak hours, setting the pace in both Front and Back of the House.
  • Helps control guest flow and monitors ticket times to maintain efficiency.
  • Ensures consistency in food and service by performing table visits to increase sales.
  • Opens and closes the facility, performing fire and security checks.
  • Assumes responsibility for cash during shift, including cash collected from waiter’s guest checks.
  • Conducts inventory at the beginning and/or end of shift.
  • Provides administrative supervision to all employees, authorizes clock-ins/outs, and reports employee performance to functional supervisors.
  • May participate in food production and service to guests while enforcing sanitation standards.

Requirements

  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card are required.
  • Must meet qualification, eligibility, and background requirements for the position.
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • Must satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check and a Tier 1 background investigation.
  • A food handler’s certificate is required.
  • Successful completion of either Front of the House or Back of the House franchisor-specified training.
  • Must be available for duty during days, nights, weekdays, weekends, and some holidays as scheduled.
  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Must meet state/local age requirements (18 years) for selling and serving alcoholic beverages.
  • For Front of the House positions, an alcohol servers certificate is required.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 6 months of experience working in a fast-paced food and beverage establishment or current employment as an MWR Texas Roadhouse team member.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and abilities must be clearly demonstrated in the resume.

Pay

This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.

Schedule

Availability required for days, nights, weekdays, weekends, and some holidays as scheduled.
