About the role

This position is located at Road Runner Lanes Bowling Center, White Sands Missile Range, NM.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains smooth running of daily facility procedures as well as special events/activities.
  • Enforces operational standards by ensuring staff follow established schedules, training requirements, and certifications are up to date in accordance with regulations.
  • Conducts inventory checks in accordance with facility policies, place and receive food and beverage orders for the facility, completes Daily Activity Reports.
  • Attends to customer orders and ensures guest satisfaction.
  • Operates a cash register as well as assists in the kitchen and with leagues and open bowling as needed. May serve alcoholic and/or non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with customer orders.
  • Provides information to customers on services offered and assists with marketing efforts. Performs opening/closing procedures for the facility.

Requirements

  • Absolutely no incentives or bonuses will be paid.
  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
  • May be required to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
  • Able and willing to work days, nights, weekends, and special events as needed.

Qualifications

  • Resumes must be two pages (or less).
  • Clearly demonstrate relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and abilities as they pertain to this position.
  • Must have progressively responsible duties in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit, custody or other processing of cash items.
  • Where duties involve selling alcoholic beverages, applicant must meet state/local age requirements for the serving of alcoholic beverage at the time of appointment.
  • Must have a minimum of 1 year experience working within a food and beverage establishment.
