About the role
This position is located at: FMWR - Business and Recreation Division - Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Area (BLORA). - Fort Hood, Texas.
Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Area (BLORA) is a reservoir located near Fort Hood and offers patrons a vast variety of activities, including but not limited to: camping, boating, hiking, fishing, kayaking, paintball, horseback riding and mountain biking.
Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of clerical and administrative duties in support of the operation.
- Applies knowledge of the organization, its functions and regulations to carry out a wide variety of administrative functions (e.g. personnel, accounting, budget, purchasing, logistics and supply, transportation, security, etc.).
- Receives telephone calls and visitors, provides required information from own knowledge or office files or refers callers to appropriate person.
- Follows up as required. Types various correspondence and reports. Tabulates statistical data into final format. Gathers data and documentation for special projects and prepares briefing support materials.
- Establishes, maintains or controls files and logs.
Requirements
United States (U.S.) Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. or U.S. territory for three (3) or more continuous years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation.
Qualifications
Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.
A qualified candidate must possess the following:
- Basic computer and math skills, and clerical and administrative work experience which indicates the ability to perform the duties as described above. Must be able to type 40 words per minute. Must be highly skilled in written and verbal communication.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and other software as required.

Allowances and Differentials: This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
