About the role

In collaboration with the Director of the Department of Pediatrics, the Operations Administrator implements key components of operations for the department. This includes the direction of key strategic objectives related to access, throughput, workflow efficiency, patient experience, and key compliance initiatives. Responsible for managing departmental subspecialty day-to-day activities and associated administrative tasks to promote effective and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees all business functions including, but not limited to: patient access, scheduling, revenue cycle operations, performance monitoring and reporting.
  • Participates in accounts receivable and payable functions.
  • Exercises administrative judgment and assumes responsibility for decisions, consequences, and results having an impact on people, costs, and/or quality of service within the Department.
  • Serves as the acting Director in the absence of the Director.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred.
  • Experience: 7 plus years of related experience as a Practice Manager running multiple offices, must have supervisory experience.

Salary range $90 to $105K, dependent on experience and internal equity.
