About the role

Responsibilities

  • Schedule classrooms via Range Facilities Management Support System (RFMSS) for units requesting a training venue
  • Assist personnel in the creation of RFMSS accounts, and coordinate as appropriate to process late requests
  • Provide consultation with event organizers seeking to utilize the OTC
  • Coordinate training and usage of the OTC based upon priority levels established in the CCO; exercise good judgement and authority to cancel and coordinate rescheduling of a class if higher-level priority training becomes necessary
  • Coordinate event details, logistics, equipment availability, and materials for scheduled classrooms and conference rooms daily
  • Prepare slides daily detailing classroom schedules and utilization
  • Coordinate delivery of classroom materials and equipment and logistics for equipment storage
  • Prepare monthly reports of equipment inventory
  • Maintain and update Key Master Log
  • Process reconciliation on work orders for office maintenance requests
  • Conduct daily/weekly and as-needed RFMSS updates detailing occupied classrooms, no shows, and same day requests
  • Prepare weekly RFMSS utilization reports, maintain and update logs, and prepare various other status reports
  • Liaise with unit coordinators and ensure compliance of Combat Center Order (CCO) 3120.2
  • Verify building usage data is correct via building logbook and BEARMAT usage data on a quarterly basis
  • Assist units with the operation of the audio/visual equipment located in the OTC, including computers, proximas, VCR, DVD, whiteboards, and the automated integrated system internal to the department
  • Troubleshoot problems with the classroom audio visual systems and make minor repairs, adjustments, or coordinate replacement of equipment as necessary
  • Report facility maintenance issues to Section Supervisor and produce facility maintenance requests for submission to the Public Works Department (PWD)
  • Notify BEARMAT of unit occupation and unit departure from G3 owned classrooms

Requirements

  • Knowledge of the mission, rules, guidelines, regulations, and basic objectives and policies governing the procedures for management of the OTC
  • Ability and skill in applying standardized processes of managing the OTC to plan and coordinate classroom space appropriate for the class size
  • Basic knowledge and skill in the use of various equipment such as a proxima, VCR, DVD players, and the automated integrated system internal to the department
  • Ability and commitment to work collaboratively with all groups, including staff, management, client, supporters, and other stakeholders
  • Working knowledge of military operations and codes of conduct
  • Strong administrative, logistics, and written and oral communications skills and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Must submit to and pass a company background check, if selected for the position
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Must be willing to work full time at MCAGCC Twentynine Palms, CA

Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of experience

Pay

Locations in MN, OH, VT, & various CA, ME, NY, VA areas: $53,600.00 - $75,000.00 annually. In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec, certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
