About the Role

As a Customer Service Coordinator, you’ll be part of a dynamic team, equipped to succeed and empowered to develop your transportation & logistics career. This Operations Management Trainee (OMT) program is an 18-month structured and comprehensive training program designed to develop leadership and operational knowledge. The position involves working collaboratively with different teams to gain insights into the business, processes, and strategies to align with customer retention, operational excellence, and metrics. This role offers the opportunity to utilize problem-solving abilities to help make sound business decisions for the company.

Relocation within the business unit at the conclusion of the training program is required. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate to start their career with a stable and successful company in the transportation industry.

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer relationship activities by providing quality customer interface, proactive customer management, issue resolution, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with the rental department to ensure maximum utilization without compromising lease customers.
  • Partner with Sales staff on customer calls for new business and increased customer satisfaction.
  • Manage running costs and maintenance overheads while ensuring policy and processes are followed to optimize them.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance, Asset Management, Sales, and Marketing to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure accurate preventive maintenance (PM) scheduling, follow-up on breakdowns, and vehicle status updates; oversee Technician work planning for efficiency, training, and flexibility.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • One (1) year or more of customer service experience with issue resolution preferred.
  • Strong mechanical skills preferred.
  • Willingness to relocate at the conclusion of the training program.

Pay

Salaried position with a pay range of $60,000 per year. The position may also be eligible for an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on level and/or type.

Schedule

1st shift - Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Shop Location: Houston, TX.
