Open Coverage Sales Executive, SafeSend/SurePrep
We’re looking for a driven and collaborative Sales Executive to help accelerate growth for our award-winning and market-leading SafeSend Returns (SSR) and SurePrep solutions.
About the Role
- Become a product expert in SafeSend Returns (SSR) and SurePrep, understanding their value to accounting firms and their clients.
- Operate in an overlay capacity, partnering with Tax Workflow sales reps to identify opportunities, align on territory strategy, and co-sell solutions.
- Manage the full sales cycle—from lead qualification to close—including handling objections, negotiating terms, and addressing EULA concerns.
- Prepare sales forecasts, reporting, and territory insights.
- Generate leads through inbound inquiries, outbound outreach, webinars, tradeshows, firm lists, and cross-selling within the existing SafeSend and SurePrep customer base.
- Collaborate on pricing, product quotes, and CRM best practices to ensure accurate and timely data capture.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
- Contribute to team knowledge sharing and support onboarding of Associate Sales Executives as needed.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of successful sales experience, ideally in software solutions or B2B environments.
- A high school diploma (required); college degree (preferred).
- Proven ability to manage sales cycles and build strong client relationships.
- Experience working in collaborative sales environments, especially in overlay or matrixed roles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to align product solutions to customer business needs.
- Familiarity with accounting and tax firm operations (preferred).
- Strong organizational skills and responsiveness.
- A positive, energetic attitude with a drive for results and continuous learning.
- Experience with Salesforce CRM or similar tools (preferred).

Pay
The target total cash compensation range for this role is $136,500 USD - $253,500 USD. Pay is positioned within the range based on individual knowledge, skills, and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay and any target sales incentive are part of a comprehensive Total Reward program.
