Responsibilities
- Thought Leadership
- Understand the client industry niche(s) served and recognize typical business problems, providing solutions through MMA’s service platform.
- Maintain proactive awareness of industry changes, economic trends, and legislative impacts on clients.
- Represent MMA Midwest through writing, speaking, and networking engagements in client and insurance industry settings.
- Advocate for service platform enhancements that increase client value and align with strategic direction.
- Create and Cultivate Relationships
- Build rapport and constructive relationships across all levels of the organization and externally.
- Negotiate skillfully in high-tension situations, balancing directness with diplomacy.
- Build a Client Base
- Analyze client exposures and opportunities using MMA’s sales process to create compelling proposals.
- Develop presentations showcasing MMA’s unique approach, track record, and customized service plans.
- Understand client decision-making processes, goals, and expectations to align service performance.
- Identify and mitigate risks to client retention, including service breakdowns or competitor involvement.
- Close new business and renewals through a methodical, persistent approach.
- Uncover opportunities for cross-selling and adding new product or coverage lines.
- Execute Client Service Platform
- Analyze client business drivers, metrics, and industry issues to solve problems effectively.
- Review coverage, program financials, claims, and loss rates to recommend improvements.
- Engage internal teams for specialized analysis and service delivery, monitoring progress.
- Oversee the placement of insurance products within your discipline, leveraging marketplace knowledge.
- Monitor client satisfaction through relationships, feedback, and surveys.
- Support an Effective Team
- Foster a motivating team climate, encouraging input and recognizing contributions.
- Conduct regular meetings to align the client service team on pending issues and service plans.
- Support agency best practices and participate in team and sales meetings.
- Mentor team members and new producers on role-specific development.
- Recruit potential candidates to MMA Midwest.
- Leverage technology and resources to maximize team efficiency.
- Set and achieve business goals through planning and performance tracking.
Requirements
- Upon hire, possess a Producers License (Fire/Casualty or Life/Health) for your state of residence.
- Proven track record of accomplishing specific tasks in a client-facing or Account Executive role.
Qualifications
- Preferred: CPCU, CEBS, ARM, or other professional designations.
- Adherence to the E&O Plus Quality Management Program expectations.

Pay
The base salary range for this role is $92,400 to $172,100, determined by experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. The position may also be eligible for performance-based incentives.
